My trusted BonJour Chateau Deluxe wine opener has worked for years. Suddenly the device pushed into a very tight cork on a bottle of sparkling wine and didn't come out. It turns out that the worm (corkscrew) shrinks, becomes shorter and no longer fits properly. These new coils fit perfectly and run smoothly. Very satisfied. I've also found that a drop of oil where the spool spins on the cap makes it spin easier (there are signs of wear under the cap) and even down the length of the spool helps it penetrate the cork.
