Useful features, comfortable grips, looks solid. but there are a few problems! Several times that winter I found this thing to be frozen while folded and had a hard time pulling it out. It seems that the snow falls next to the mechanism that fixes the position, melts and freezes again. This securely blocks the release mechanism, making it very difficult to pull out on a cold morning. The previous whisk/scraper I had, of a similar design, had a twist release mechanism and never got stuck. I'll live with that, but I think it would be better with an old-fashioned turn unlock. This is similar to what should have been discovered when testing the product prior to its release. If it had a locking mechanism that didn't freeze that easily it would be an easy 4 stars. Another issue that shortens the sprocket is the ice scraper on the side of the brush. It's an interesting idea, but I'd rather just see the same ridges on the back of an existing scraper. The problem with this arrangement is that removing snow from the bottom of the windshield becomes painful when you're on the left-hand side of the car. This extra scraper will stick to the windshield wipers and scrape the edge of your car's hood. I'm not a fan of this so all I had to do was clean the base of the windshield on the passenger side of the car. Not perfect. I've only used it for one winter so I can't comment on durability.
