I'm having trouble receiving AM stations with the factory antenna on my Sony car stereo. After a quick 10 minute setup I tried out a once weak AM station and was happy to get a much louder and clearer signal than before. It definitely worked better with the power amp on as I tried it with no power and it wasn't such a good signal. I had to run it and clip it to the top of the windshield, but the sticky clips on the back made it an easy process. Highly recommended for people with poor AM reception. My Sony seems to have really good FM reception, but the AM wasn't as good as the factory (Toyota) receiver. This product solved my problem.
