Why is it so hard for the person selling the product to be honest and specific?! What's the point of saying it's 23 inches when there's 1 1/4 or 3/8 inches of that length outside the cage at the clasp. Our cage is 22 inches deep, like many others; and of course it doesn't fit over the cage because it's actually about 21 3/4 or maybe 22 which doesn't allow it to "grab" the cage bars so you can put a clasp on each side! Temple?! Buy another manufacturer who will indicate the exact size! Skip this if you don't want the hassle.
