I bought this yarn to knit a blanket for my soon-to-be grandniece and I really like it! It's very very soft---will be nice to lay next to baby skin. The colors go well together and I love this cake style color changing scheme. There's a lot of yarn here - I'm about halfway done with the quilt and I can say I'll have enough yarn (quilt is small but sometimes it's still missing!). Originally I was going to crochet with this but the threads have a habit of not being right, it's good to hold together but with a hook it seemed to work more. I proceeded to split the yarn in two. When knitting, I have more control over the needles, so it works better. I wish the strands were a little more twisted so they hold together better. But other than that I'm very happy with it!
