With a bit of fiddling it worked. I have a rack of 4 CentOS 8 boxes hosting a virtualization cluster, an HP laptop and a Lenovo laptop over a TrendNet TK-803R 8-port KVM. My initial setup attempts involved a gaming mouse that was causing erratic characters and general expander misbehavior. The documentation was abysmal at explaining the installation, said next to nothing about compatibility, and nothing about troubleshooting. After setup with a regular HP scrolling mouse and Microsoft keyboard, everything is fine. I needed a second power supply and had no problem ordering one. They are still available. 3 stars for poor documentation and compatibility issues.
