Update: The number of stars has been increased to 4. Good product. I've been using the temperature controller along with a lamp to warm my brood chicks for a few days. Works perfectly. I would only deduct 1/2 star for model #thing, but certainly not an option. Completely satisfied with the product. I just wish it had Wi-Fi, which is what I was originally looking for. Stars deducted for ambiguous model numbers. Will update stars accordingly or not depending on actual use after I use it. I bought it to use the temperature controller for the brooder lamp and EcoGlow brooder and was trying to get a Wi-Fi model so I can control and adjust it when I'm away from home. I don't mind burning my house down. A Wi-Fi module with the SAME model number would have been shipped to me in a MONTH. It was necessary as soon as possible. So I ordered this one with the ONE model number, mistakenly thinking they were the same. I didn't really need a humidity monitor, but having a temperature controller a month earlier was a big deal. Unfortunately, I was only able to get a temperature controller without wifi for $35 instead of $70 for the same few days. I blame myself for not noticing that there is no mention of Wi-Fi capability in this product description. The two devices with the model number ITC-308 are confusing. So make sure you get what you think. It was very easy to do. As for the counters themselves, I've just started unpacking and will be installing them for my chickens in the next day or two. The first impression is that these are well-made and high-quality controllers. Not quite what I wanted for my hens, but they'll be outside before I can get my hands on the wi-fi version. So I'll live with that. I have no doubt that it will be suitable for use with seed mats and the like, so it will find wide application one way or another.
