So after about 20 miles these tires seem smooth and fairly manageable. My fault after the second try. As usual with balloon tires they initially had a slight camber but after a kilometer or two they were ridden and now they are perfectly round. I think the markings (very bold) look good on my Electra rat. which used to have wide white walls. My only dislike, albeit small, is that they can't be raised above 45psi (60psi would be my preference), which doesn't really matter to most people because I'm a very tall guy at 300lbs, so the extra one Pressure guards against pinching, but someone under, say, 210 pounds will find the maximum 40psi recommendation perfectly acceptable. miles per week, which can be more than most beach cruisers consume.
