48 inch antenna

I mean you could make this thing pretty simple, it's just a tape measure and shrink wrap and a diode or something with a coil in the base. This is not a review telling you how handy this antenna is. Obviously if I were to buy one I think it should be her. Inches, it seems like a loss of efficiency compared to the size, although the largest is the most powerful, maybe even in the Baofeng PDA market, it's just not much better than the previous one in the line. Be a nice place with them. The reception didn't seem to be as strong as the transmission for me, even more so for this brat. I've had some interesting results, this caught my eye, it lasts better if it's on its side, probably due to the length.? I had a strong transmission. The antenna is folded as the base is set at 48 inches. If you want to use it folded, you need to buy a 15" device and replace the base, but then the base is not configured for the antenna. fully extended, they should offer a "Base/Coil Pack" for the longer antennas. If I could use a radio with the antenna folded, i.e. in my truck, I would probably keep the antenna. If they offered a range of bases I would buy them, but right now to use a large antenna you have to buy any antenna from 15 inches (the smallest folded length) to 48 inches to be able to use them in multiple configurations. And the same problem will haunt any antenna size in the line. They really want a basic package and sell each antenna as one or more configurations and include additional bases in the multi-configuration option, duly labeled of course. and a 48" from ABBREE and I was able to receive with an antenna/radio and it also fit in the cockpit of my car. To be clear the 15" format I chose matches or slightly exceeds the capabilities of the 15" Inch displays from this company, but that doesn't add up.
