Fuel hose supplying gas from a pressure tank a) Kinks easily and will fail under pressure if kinked b) Pops out of the pump outlet at normal operating pressure. Both happened with two pumps that I had installed. b) is particularly bad and has nothing to do with the installation error. Unless you are replacing the hose with a heavy-duty fuel hose, you should at least clamp off both ends of the fuel line with a clamp. I wouldn't buy this product again but would spend $1-200 more for something like the Bosch version.
