Good pool backwash camlock
I got tired of the flat hose ripping when backwashing the DE pool filter so I bought a very good hose with camlock fittings. The next step was to attach a PVC threaded fitting to the backwash end of my pool filter and then screw on this good fitting. After completion, I can now connect my stable hose to it, which can be easily snapped into place and the system flushed.
