These are strong magnets that fit snugly into the long hex shaft mounts. It takes a little effort to slide them through the head of the bit, but once they slide somewhere on the shank where you want them. The magnet is strong enough to magnetize both ends of the extended shank well enough to hold the screws securely on the bit. I'd rather pay less for just one of them as they're pretty easy to turn on and off, and I've never used the second one, which would be more useful for those who work fast and need to use multiple bits frequently. Definitely a great product for extra long standard hex screwdrivers. Recommend!
