You cannot be called beautiful; This is a working pair of pliers

This is a high quality, American made, durable set of pliers. With that being said I could see that some people don't like them and give them two stars. You cannot be called beautiful; they are the tongs of the worker. They do not have a flawless finish and there are some inconsistencies in the workmanship. At the same time, no true mechanic or technician should care if their tools are beautiful. It's all about functionality and they are very functional. You get more than the average lever from side cutters (a colleague recently had to borrow them because his channel lock cutters were not sufficient). I like that they are a little big (big hands) and the design of the ridged and spiked pliers is really good. I also find the toothing of the jaws very high quality, especially the needle nose. You can buy Knipex and get something prettier, but I'd take them any day. Edit: After buying them for a while I changed my mind and just bought Knipex. With harder material, the cutting edges were soft, the same applies to the teeth of the pliers. The needle nose is probably a highlight, but still not perfect. I haven't used that much slip on pliers but they seem pretty good. Basically, I am very disappointed with milling cutters, leverage is useless without well-hardened cutting edges.
