UPDATE. I SHOULD RETURN THE PRODUCT AS I THOUGHT WHEN I RECEIVED IT. Very thin. The phone holder keeps falling off the stem, even without a phone. When the phone is installed, it rotates 360 degrees, which is unacceptable when using GPS. Now things have gotten worse and the whole part holding the phone just falls off and the phone falls over like it's too heavy. I didn't even use it much because of the poor function. Can not be used. waste of money! First review: I decided to give it a try, I was looking for something to use in my car. I didn't want windshield or dash mounts and the vent mounts I tried didn't work. This is a great solution. The only issue I've seen so far is that the cradle is attached at the top of the neck with a ball attached to the expandable part that grips the ball. I accidentally hit the device and the whole mount fell off. It wasn't a big hit, so that tells me it's not the safest. Does the part that grips the ball weaken over time as it expands? Although I like it very much, I'm considering going back. This is not the case at all when sketching directions. It looks like a smaller and more durable square piece that snaps or screws on. I don't want to be paranoid about having to move my phone. I barely touched it and it fell so easily. The good news is that it's easy to assemble, fits snugly in my cup holder, and has an adjustable neck. It even comes with pads for a more secure fit, but I didn't need them. The angle is ideal for viewing GPS. Easy to get to, great height. Today is the first day I've actually opened and built it, so I'll test it out. I would give 3 1/2 but sold out. couldn't put a 4
