Not up to the task. Suitable for halogen lamps
The price and the relatively positive reviews convinced me. The lamp arrives within three days of ordering. When I tried to install it in my microwave, the wires broke. Thinking I might just be clumsy (even though I work with much thinner items) I ordered another one and tried to install it even neater. Although extra care was taken to align the pins with the socket and careful attempts were made to insert the pins, the wires broke again. I've been able to take the old bulb out and put it back in repeatedly, so I'm guessing the wires on this bulb just aren't up to the task. I order an OEM replacement and save time.
