I started with the Ledger Nano X. Then I bought a billfold for my recovery seed. I needed some redundancy and wanted to confirm that my recovery seed would definitely work (although it does work in the test recovery application on the Nano X). So it was a great purchase as a backup for my Nano X. I put the recovery seed from my X into the S and everything generated great. Now I have peace of mind, and the letter S and the second wallet remain in my safe. The perfect compliment for anyone who owns a Nano X. Even without the battery, I find it to be a great device for long-term storage. The space accommodated the apps I wanted (BTC, Eth, DOT, and LTC). As a recovery device, it's not the end of the world if I have to uninstall and reinstall another app to withdraw my money. Without a second ledger as a backup, you would be forced to burn your seed by injecting it into Coinify or Electrum. This way you can manage your cryptocurrency until you get another Nano X. As for Billfold, I like it. I have two billfolds and two cryptosteel capsules. I think Billfold is absolutely perfect. The Cryptosteel capsule is nice and well made, but for a 24-word seed, it's very short, even if you only use the first word for letters and separators between parts of words. Passphrase On my two Cryptosteel pods (because the passphrase can easily be kept without the a pod without overloading it. If they made the Cryptosteel pod about 3/4 inch longer it would be better than the billfold but like this Isn't Billfold Top Dog? Be sure to learn BIP34/39/44 (especially BIP44) before getting serious about hardware wallets.
