Installation couldn't be simpler. I quickly attached the board to a convenient spot with screws. I then used the template provided to determine exactly where I wanted and then drilled the holes. Unscrew the charger from the backplate, attach the plate with the screws provided, and then reinsert the mounting screws into their holes to secure the charger to the mounting plate. Connect it. With someone to hold the charger while I screw in the mounting screws, I was done in 40 minutes. It's very easy to use. Press the button on the front, connect the other end to the car. You get cool LED animations and technical details when you need them. Of course there are no additional features like a mobile app or tethering to your WiFi network, but I don't need it either. Every electric car I've come across has a mobile app, so the car lets you know when it's full. When finished, unplug the power cord and then press the button to turn it off. The cables are very thick and flexible enough for most needs. The device is surprisingly small, but it has weight. Everything fits together well and looks good. There is a rubber cap on the end of the J1772 connector if you are concerned about water getting into the socket. For the price I paid this is a great device.
