Bought to hold two of the largest radiator hoses which I have replaced with new silicone coated hoses. These clamps have rounded edges to avoid cutting the hose surface. I particularly like that the design uses a 'bolt head' instead of a 'nut head' on the driven end. This means you can use a wrench to tighten, whereas with a nut head design the bolt's shank goes through where it's hammered, requiring you to use either an open end wrench or a deep spanner instead of a plain wrench. What, it's a hose clamp, it serves its purpose, the size is right.
