drilled one hole before the bit separated from the octagon locking seat

used the new bit to drill one pilot hole in a piece of teak prior to screwing on another piece.When I went to screw in a second pilot hole and the bit cut partway in then turned freely in the base, when I tried to reverse the bit out of the hole the base came off the bit and we had to remove the bit from the wood with a small channel lock plier.These things are nothing more than junk. I would not recommend the purchase of them to anyone, whether friend or enemy.

A very brittle tap set. You must pre drill holes with an appropriate sure bit before tapping your holes, otherwise these guys will snap into pieces the first time you try to use them.
