Beyond awesome! good for me

Was working on a project and broke a bolt for the bumper assembly on my van. I had to drill out what was left of the bolt and as a result needed to retap the threads so I could put it all back together. That's where these bits come in. These bits are beyond awesome. After 20 to 30 minutes of slow drilling they not only cleaned out the hole but also left perfect threads for the replacement bolt. Very happy with these bits they got the job done and done right. After use there is visible ware on…

Pros
  • Good deal 👌
Cons
  • M5 broke on first try... Nuff said.

Did the job but take your time and have a back up plan

The 8Mx1.25 bit worked for me and got the job done. Best $12.99 I could have spent to drill and tap my damaged threads on the vehicle. I took my time (by hand) to slowly let the bit do its job. When the bit got snug, I worked the bit back and forth to loosen and shavings out of the way. After getting through, I backed out the bit without a problem. I chased the threads with a matching thread bolt and then then with the replacement automotive part. The thread tap portion of the bit had two spots…

Pros
  • Good Quality.
Cons
  • It says high durability but it’s not.It broke into several pcs during normal use.

avoid: broke off after 4 uses

using the M6 bit to tap the extruded center holes on 2040 aluminum t-slot rails. successfully threaded 4 holes. mid way through the 5th hole I bent down to pick something up off the floor and bumped the tap handle. I didn't whack it with a sledge hammer or lean on it with my entire body weight. just gently bumped it with my well padded shoulder and the bit snapped. I was using cutting oil if that should make any difference. sorry about the poor image quality but you can see this product is…

Pros
  • Worked pretty good.
Cons
  • go slow break easy

Waste of money. for my opinion

I'm an industrial maintenance tech, and these are supposed to be the stronger drill/tap bits but the first time I used this one in being aluminum this is what happened. It broke right in half. This is the second set of these I've had the first set was for thinner metals well they broke right off of course. This is the second set it's supposed to be heavier duty for thicker steel. Yeah right won't even stand up to less than 1/8 of an inch thick aluminum. JUNK!

Pros
  • Worked better than I thought
Cons
  • Case does not securely close, by the time it arrived 4/6 bits are missing.

Don't use the ones that are titanium coated.

Good cutting but breaks easily. Good product for the money. Will continue to use for small ventures. i''m pretty sure these things are supposed to last a little longer than this did!

Pros
  • Love it
Cons

They break!: my feedback

As soon as it drilled through the metal and I tried to reverse the bit, it broke off. Twice! Heartbreaking. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • easy to use and they have held up to some pretty tough work
Cons
  • Would not recommend. Broke on the first use.

Not durable. good for me

Of the two bits used so far, both bits broke on the first use without finishing the job, not very durable. Ineffective for Heavy-Duty Projects: The set is not suitable for heavy-duty projects that require more powerful and versatile tools.

Pros
  • UN EXCELENTE PRODUCTO
Cons
  • Ineffective for Heavy-Duty Projects: The set is not suitable for heavy-duty projects that require more powerful and versatile tools

Used to tap 6mm threads on 10 ga mild steel and got one hole threaded using slightly larger bit first. Bit snapped on second hole using smaller guide hole and the bit on this for sizing. Didn't make it past the 3rd thread using my Ryobi drill on slow speed setting and clutch set at 50%.

Pros
  • Works really well. Smooth drill in and out no problem.
Cons
  • To small

Bit snapped for my opinion

The M6X1 bit snapped under light pressure using my 12v drill. I started to drill a hole and was reversing the bit after it turned a little when it snapped. I was trying to be careful and used lubrication.

Pros
  • Worked perfect until I abused one and it snapped. Was not the products fault.
Cons
  • Nope. I won’t fall for that again. Sometimes cheaper is just cheap.

Worked Great! good for me

I used this tool to make 4 threaded holes in a 4040 aluminum extrusion for a 3D printer project. I had good pilot holes already, and the threads were very easy to make. Worked great!

Pros
  • works good comes in very handy for quick repairs
Cons
  • Not what I had hoped for. Small sizes break easily. I wanted U.S. sizes and got metric instead.

The smaller ones didn't last long.

The came as they were supposed to. Worked as they were supposed to. The small ones did break after about three or four uses in 1/16th mild steel.

Pros
  • Highly recommended
Cons
  • Terrible. They break immediately

Not durable enough: my feedback

The m3 makes a hole larger than needed and the m5 broke on the second hole and yes appropriate speed and cutting fluid where used.

Pros
  • Like
Cons
  • Difficult to Use

Broke the first time I tried to use

I was really disappointed in these as when I used one, the very first time, it snapped off inside the piece I was trying to drill through, completely ruining the piece as well. The drill bit is lodged in so tightly it is impossible to remove without tearing apart the piece it is in. I’m really disappointed

Pros
  • Not bad. Works as it should.
Cons
  • Not satisfied with product

Great buy!: my feedback

Great deal for the price and they worked great for drilling through a tractor I have at home! Great Value for the price! When the package arrived via USPS there were no drill bits included. Just a small plastic case.

Pros
  • I always fumble for the right drill bit for a tap use. These worked well the first time when used.
Cons
  • When the package arrived via USPS there were no drill bits included. Just a small plastic case

used the new bit to drill one pilot hole in a piece of teak prior to screwing on another piece. When I went to screw in a second pilot hole and the bit cut partway in then turned freely in the base, when I tried to reverse the bit out of the hole the base came off the bit and we had to remove the bit from the wood with a small channel lock plier. These things are nothing more than junk. I would not recommend the purchase of them to anyone, whether friend or enemy.

Pros
  • Handy
Cons
  • they broke drill a hole and it broke off when going threw a small peace of steal.04

No response from seller

Used for less than a month and two of them have broken. I have messaged the seller twice about this and have not seen any response. I would buy from somewhere else who will back their product.

Pros
  • Used one the other day and worked well
Cons
  • These bits will work for soft metal but not anything hard.
