Review on Soldering Remover Electronics Welding Maintenance by Thomas Chalecki
The wick does not absorb well.
I don't know why but I didn't get those wicks soaked. Tried flux, no flux, hotter, colder. They will work so sporadically. Absolutely not worth wasting your time on. Maybe I got a bad batch. I've never had this, it's very strange.
