Condition: Item arrived in an opened box. The filter was also incorrectly inserted into the box, causing the box to not close properly. The filter wasn't sealed in any plastic bag or anything and all had baby scuff marks on it. Usage: exact replacement. When you turn on the faucet, the water flows through this filter much faster than my previous filter when it was new. In fact, it's more like a jet stream while my previous filter was smoother. I'm not sure if it filters water but as I've only had experience with the original filter that came with a faucet connector I'm keeping the product. You'll probably have to pay an extra $5 and buy elsewhere to be sure the filter was new.
