I install this oil filter every time I buy the oil new in my 2016 Ford F150 2.7L V6 with the truck. I have never had any known engine oil or oil filter related problems while using this product. I only use fully synthetic motor oil. My truck currently has 53k on the odometer and it's still running great! The filter comes with 3 replacement rubber O-rings; 2 large and 1 small, which should be replaced with every oil change on the plastic oil filter housing. Consider using a razor blade to cut/remove the old o-rings from the oil filter housing. The only complaint I have is the installation of a small o-ring on the oil filter housing. Installing a small o-ring may seem impossible, but it can be done with a little persistence and a small amount of lubricant on the o-ring. Just be sure to check the small O-ring during installation! Sometimes it may jump/slip out of your fingers during installation and run away from you from a considerable distance! After fitting the new filter into the filter housing block and reinstalling it into the top of the engine I would recommend using a torque wrench to prevent accidental tightening. Remember the filter housing is plastic and you don't want it to tear!
