I really like this monitor although it has some downsides. One downside I noticed recently is that there is some (very small amount) glowing on the black screen. I'm not sure why this is a problem for people but I noticed it and wanted to mention it. It doesn't bother me personally. Another thing I noticed, which isn't a downside but could be better, is the way the lid is attached. It uses two screws covered with pieces of fabric glued on top, making it look like a lid. I figured they were snaps and they might break the monitor if one of the stickers didn't come off. Again, this isn't really a downside, but something to be aware of. The last thing I want to address is the refresh rate. 60Hz isn't bad, but I wouldn't really call it a "gaming" level monitor. While your games will look great (this monitor looks better than it does on my laptop), the refresh rate will eventually reach its limit and it won't look as good as, say, a 144Hz monitor (which I have on my laptop). I don't use it for gaming though, so it's a moot point. The price tag of around $190 may seem high for some people. It's definitely an investment and if you're a laptop user like me, this monitor might just be what you need, especially if you're a photo editor. The colors are beautiful and incredibly accurate (as far as I can tell). I really like this monitor and maybe you will too.
