I really wanted to like this thing, especially for the price. I've read all sorts of reviews on this helmet and while there were so many good ones, there were enough bad ones to make me doubt it. Well I went for it and after 3 days the lens detached in the middle of a weld and I got a flare. 4 damn arc sensors on this thing. I was running well and the helmet shifted on my head maybe 1/2 inch from sweat and the lens popped out. Insanity. Also, I didn't like how the level of obscuration changed depending on the angle you were looking through the lens from. . I have tested this several times. I liked some things about him, but I'm trying not to catch fire when I'm welding. That is trash. it's coming back I will not make the same mistake twice. Back to the ones that work A dangerous game with your eyes. Spend over $250 and get a good one. Of course I learned.
