Great little units - starters and alternators
Works great, bought three, one for my motorcyclist, one for a friend and one for neighbours. Inside is a contact plate that transfers power from the input terminal to the starter terminal. Over time, this plate becomes pitted and continuity becomes minimal. Have you ever pressed a button and nothing? After many attempts to press this button, it starts to work. I swap mine out after two years, this can cause your starter to fail due to the low current caused by the point plates.
