Review on Kyocera CKT 105WH BK Outdoor Ceramic Kitchen by Ron Patel

Heavier handle than non-camping models. Exceptionally sharp ceramic edge. Ceramics are generally not durable. Accidents happen and when they happen, I don't think ceramic can fall like a metal blade. I usually return them to the factory to grind them. But our 5 inch chef's knife now has too many chips on the blade - one for me, one for my wife. I'm not sure if one can be recovered, but I'll find out. The woman swears by the ceramic blade for almost all plant work, which is wonderful when used carefully and its somewhat filigree nature.
