This bit did exactly what I expected. I've used it to make a red oak plank for several furniture projects. The notch on the bearing side is slightly (1/32) smaller than the notch on the stem side. Very little resistance when punching through the material on the router table, but two passes is better. It is very important that the material fits snugly against the router table as this router will cut accurately on the corners of the material and will also gouge at close range making even 1/16 inch wobble noticeable. Still feels as sharp after dozens of oak passes as it did out of the box.
