Review on TECBEARS No Tangle Filament for Dimensional Printing by Adam Walsh

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Really nicely packaged. Great color, great performance.

Many filaments are highly twisted (twisted filament can cause print defects), but this material has a near-perfect roll. A trifle is not to use a zipper for plastic packaging. The production should improve this. I have a Creality CR-10S and until recently I used a thread from HatchBox and Revain Basics because I wanted to be sure it was proven value for money. A while ago the cheap version of Filament was a complete disaster for me after a few hours of typing. The thread is twisted and tangled. But when I saw this one, nicely packaged, I tried it. The dimensions are correct at 1.75mm after checking a few points. The colors are wonderful. If this is your first time using silk thread, I highly recommend trying the following slicer options before blaming those manufacturers. :) • Nozzle 230235° • Bed Temp 5560° • Flow Control 110 120% (underextrusion usually occurs) • Fan Speed 15% or off. (If higher, blockage) • Retract 0.5 mm or off. (Off recommended) • Speed: 2400 mm/sec. or lower (Required!) If you still hear the *click* sound of the extruder motor, you'd better slow down your print speed. Otherwise, your hotend may be clogged. Happy 3D printing!
