Do not twist two parts together when the gap is large
On the product, the manufacturer recommends twisting the two parts together when the gap is more than 3/4β. That is no solution! Sealant drains completely through the twisted rods resulting in 100% sealant loss. I lost five tubes of sealant. . I couldn't find a local shop that sells a larger rod. Finally, my sidewalk had a slight incline, and since this caulk is self-leveling (and works great), the caulk slid onto the underside, causing undesirable results. Please only use on flat cracks!
