This product is ALMOST perfect. I use it when I go cycling with my girlfriend. She has the same one and we put it in bottle holders to listen to while we commute to work. Just two issues that may not be a problem for you. First, the battery life is terrible. I get maybe 2.5 hours out of it. You want this to be tethered to an outlet. Second, if you're planning on syncing the two together, it's really more of a stationary thing. It works great, but even when I'm very close to my friend's bike, it sometimes happens that it falls out of the speakers. One odd quirk is that even though the music is coming from my phone which is 2 feet away from the speaker on my bike, the audio cuts out even on MY speaker when it's more than 15 feet away.
