The battery life is TERRIBLE!

It takes almost a day to charge and the battery lasts no more than 2 hours. Bought warranty on it and also over a week ago the place where I got the warranty and contacted the seller of the speaker but still got no answer!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Protection

The speaker arrived broken.

Burnt out speaker arrived. All deeper basses just rattle. I've used these speakers before and know they work very well so obviously this one hasn't been properly refurbished. It also arrived with what appeared to be dried groceries on the cloth upholstery. Very disappointing. I will send it back and order a brand new one instead.

Will not pair with UE Roll models

This speaker will not pair with any UE Roll model. That was the main reason I bought the speaker, so I was very disappointed. The doubling feature used to work with Boom speakers, but UE disabled it with a firmware update, which is further disappointing. Called support to see if there was a workaround but they (several carriers) said it wasn't possible. One even admitted that this was a confusing and annoying move by UE and that he had heard this complaint from many other users.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I won't say anything

UP Boom 2! Get 2, it's worth it!

I have 2 of these, one was purchased new from Best Buy and the other was purchased from Revain. Both sound great and pair well for playing in different rooms, turning up the volume or playing in stereo. They are waterproof and I take them with me everywhere. Initially, I named the buttons differently (and colored them) to know which are which when paired. I quickly noticed a difference between the two speakers. Store-bought Revain doesn't last very long on a charge. I suspect this speaker was…

The short battery life and the syncing feature have some issues.

This product is ALMOST perfect. I use it when I go cycling with my girlfriend. She has the same one and we put it in bottle holders to listen to while we commute to work. Just two issues that may not be a problem for you. First, the battery life is terrible. I get maybe 2.5 hours out of it. You want this to be tethered to an outlet. Second, if you're planning on syncing the two together, it's really more of a stationary thing. It works great, but even when I'm very close to my friend's bike, it

Stereo pairing is a pain; Party mode is unpredictable.

I bought 4 of these hoping to be able to just put stereo speakers anywhere or have them play around the garden with ease (stereo is not possible when 3 or more speakers are connected - crap). However, pairing any configuration other than a single speaker is challenging. Each speaker sounds very good for its size. But pairing for one stereo is random, and connecting others in party mode is even more unpredictable. I named my speakers A, B, C, and D in the Bluetooth settings, tested them, and…
