Bought as another game disc. The drive is about as fast as it needs to be for this purpose, but if you're looking for speed for the money you probably already know this drive isn't for you as there are several cheaper drives out there that do outperform this drive, albeit for general calculations. and games, it's more than fast enough. The RGB aspect is that it offers strong appeal and looks great (wish I had a few more for the raid setup). Overall, this disc more than lives up to expectations. If you don't mind an extra $20-$30 for lighting effects and you sacrifice some performance, this is a pretty cool drive. If you're looking for pure performance, look no further than the Crucial MX500 Series.
