Review on Ryobi P118B 18V Battery Charger: Fast and Efficient Charging Solution by Jon Johnson

The P118B charger works perfectly with several interchangeable (counterfeit) Ryobi lithium batteries from different manufacturers. Tested on Novcor 5Ah, Vanon 6Ah and Homedas 4Ah types. Compared to the Imax B6 charger (SkyRC's well-known reference quality charger), the P118B charges the battery to the same peak capacity that can be achieved with a given battery when using the B6. Notes: The problem (if any) is related to the batteries, the capacity of which is overstated, except for the Homedas 4Ah model, which charges up to 4115 mAh, which exceeds the advertised rating. This charger isn't very fast, but unless you're impatient, that's actually a GOOD feature, because it saves battery life, increases its life expectancy, and also helps get closer to reaching the maximum charge capacity, that is, reaching the maximum usage time / work. It will not charge older 15 cell NiCad batteries as correctly stated in its specification.
