Over the years I've gotten several electric grinders, and they last general 1-3 years. It's nice to have one handed use while cooking with messy hands. But I think by nature they are not going to be as long lasting a manual grinder. That being said I decided to try this gravity one and it works well. Easy to install and change the size of grinder. After about a month it stopped working and I opened it and noticed there were two batteries that were rusted/acidic. I contacted the company and they provided a replacement quickly that does work. They noted to use the brush included to make sure it's clean. I don’t know how any pepper would’ve gotten in there so I periodically check now.I give it four stars, but I still recommend it. If it can last longer than a year without issues I might upgrade to five stars.Great costumer service.
