I am delighted with this mixer. I'm really. We've been using it for about 2 weeks and it's getting a lot more use than I expected. Kids ask for smoothies almost every day. And yesterday, for example, I made a pico de gallo with a chopper using fresh vegetables from our farmers market. An hour later, I decided a strawberry margarita would pair perfectly with a fresh pico; so that was ridiculously easy to whip up too lol. I have to say that I feel this is a high performance blender. Nine parts seem cheap or at least unreliable. The glass is incredibly thick and I don't expect it to ever break. I also found this unit to be incredibly easy to disassemble and reassemble for cleaning. I can't recommend it highly enough. I am so incredibly happy and impressed with this blender.
