I bought this for my husband who just lost his mother in September 2020. It's his first Mother's Day without her. Although we are a religious family, in these early stages of grief he prefers not to be reminded of his loss with objects such as angels, wings, butterflies or similar things. It was the perfect alternative to other reminder/love candles (without the writings and using trigger words like "remembered"). Yes, I think about these things too much. I cried when it arrived today. That is beautiful. It arrived early and in perfect condition. The words are very uplifting. It's not too obvious that this is an homage. That's exactly what I wanted. Fits nicely and neutrally in our home decor (by the fireplace). Can't wait to show it off with a battery operated tealight that burns all day on Mother's Day. It comes with a tealight that is difficult to remove. Beautiful colour, great quality! I'll buy another one for my neighbor!
