I consider myself a thrifty person so I did a lot of research before purchasing this mat. I have read and understood the reviews. uh, it's only $50, so how could that be bad? Oooh, that's bad. I understand other reviews have mentioned that after a while it will fluff up to make it look better. and so it is. But that still can't completely hide the fact that you can see through the fibers onto the ground. Like I said, I'm frugal, so at first I felt like I could live with that, but then I realized there's a difference between being frugal and embarrassingly cheap. I had to ask myself if I want my friends to come and see it? The answer was a clear NO! . So it went back.
