Great product. I bought a Planar 8D-12 heater (like Webasto) which is normally built into cars, but I bought my heater to heat my 2 car garage. It does a great job, but I had no way of plugging it into a power source because these heaters typically use car batteries to power them. So I needed a power supply that could mimic a car battery power supply and this pyramid power supply does the job well by putting out the 13.8 volts I need and also needed something that could handle about 8 amps huh this device does. withstands 12 amps. All in all, this device cuts a very good figure. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that this unit tends to get very hot (not sure if that's normal) and I wish they had an option for a built in fan. . Since my block lasted 2 years and then burned out, I bought another one. I feel like it gets too hot and doesn't have a fan. I install my own fan on this unit, I only use a computer fan that I have as a spare, this should solve the overheating problem.
