At first it looked like a good deal. Our cub seemed to love basking in the warmth. I have no idea if the lamp actually emitted UV rays as advertised. The 50W bulb burned out quickly. Maybe it worked for a week, and when it was replaced with a 25W bulb, the entire ceramic cartridge constantly rotated along with the bulb. Finally removed the bulb and now the 25W only works occasionally. Return and refund requested. Not sure if mine was lemon or something based on other good reviews. The clamp worked well in our aquarium.
