Review on π BUFFALO TeraStation 5410DN: Efficient Desktop 32TB NAS with Inclusive Hard Drives by Jordan Jackson
This system was easy to set up and install, set up raid arrays and create folders.
Installation was very easy and smooth although some drive and RAID settings take some time. This was not surprising given the size of the volumes created and the subsequent raid volumes that could be used as the end result. Overall, this is a great NAS system and although I've only had it for a short time, it works great. I'll come back and add a review once it's been 6 or 8 months to see if anything has changed. Note. I added four more drives to the standard 16TB configuration for a total of 32TB on drives larger than 20TB in the RAID array. (The original configuration leaves just over 10 TB).
