This is my first time using a pen tattoo machine so I wanted to use it for a while before writing a review. This kit really has a dual purpose. It's good for beginners to practice with; You can learn the basics and go further. It has everything a student needs to start tattooing. You would go online and find a good video tutorial and then you would move on. For those who already have the knowledge required for tattooing, this kit is a great addition as it can be carried around making a portable tattoo shop. A real tattoo machine that is a "handle" model gives you the ability to maneuver and work with it. I had no problem switching from my tattoo gun to this one. I made it myself by taping and modifying the "handle" to fit my grip. It has everything you need from a real tattoo machine, battery and electric charger to practice "skin", gloves, ink, needles and keys to lock your set. Please note that this is not a toy. This is a real tattoo kit. Therefore, potential buyers need to know if you are buying this for someone else. Not for children.
