I bought these to replace worn hoses on my gauge kit. I installed them today to diagnose a broken air conditioner in my car. Installed a set of sensors, started the car and turned on the air conditioning. I watch the gauges as the high side pressure slowly approaches 375 psi. Yes. too high i know I'm on my way to the ignition when two of the three hoses burst, spraying the car and me with air conditioning oil and releasing my freon. If you look at the specs. These hoses are listed for 500 psi working pressure and 2500 psi burst pressure. Apparently this was not the case, at least with my hose set. They exploded below the "working pressure" and well below the specified burst pressure. Also, the mating threads were of poor quality and the seal inserts were made of hard plastic (polypropylene I think) instead of softer oil. - resistant rubber. Long story short, I would avoid these hoses like the plague.
