Description of πŸ”§ Joywayus 3 Color 1/4" SAE Thread Brass Fitting Nuts 36" (500-2500) PSI Car HVAC Refrigeration Charging Hose Tube R12 R22 R502 3pcs

36 inch hose set color coded in red, yellow, and blue. 500 PSI working pressure and 2500 PSI burst pressure. High pressure provides you with safe and convenience testing for many HVAC systems. The solid brass nuts are deeply knurled for quick finger-tightening, easy to use. A strong six-sided crimp provides a reliable connection between the hose and barb even at maximum pressure. Before use, please connect the blue hose to the low-pressure connector, the red hose to the high-pressure connector, and the yellow hose to the charge/release refrigerant.

Good return on investment: tools and equipment

5 stars for the price and because it works great. Please note that all metal parts are made of ferrous metals (not brass) and will therefore rust/discolour. The union nuts are not "deeply knurled" either, but still adequate. Straight 1/4" connection on one side and 1/4" elbow fitting with valve depressor on the other side. Works great with 134a. Have a good trip back.

  • Pleasant

  • Makes me angry

Big $$ problem! for tools and equipment

Want to read reviews before ordering. Loading an R410A air conditioner with a 7 lb charge and 280 lb high side pressure. I exited the external system to check out the inside, when I got back outside the hose had failed and the entire 7lb charge released. Bad thing the Β£7 charge was more than the cost of the hose. Now I have a bad hose and 2 hoses that I can't use.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • New competitors

Failed after first use.

I work with a car air conditioner and am trying to find a cheap replacement hose set for an old set of pressure gauges. The price was good, it lacked the quality of materials and workmanship, but at this price, expectations weren't too high. I charged the air conditioning on a car and almost immediately the high pressure hose started to fail. Small bubbles began to appear due to poor quality materials or poor crimping.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Updates available

What's the Price of Safety?: Air Conditioning Line Repair Tools

These hoses are too short to hang the elbow where it should be. As if that wasn't enough, the high pressure side blew in my face. The hose was 300#, half the working pressure and about a tenth the tensile strength. A few loud clicks, and then p134a and oil in all directions. They look great and the fittings are fine but I wouldn't trust these hoses again. Without the glasses, this event could have changed my life. Revain did a great job getting my money back.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Requires Socket

Break at 375psi - avoid like the plague

I bought these to replace worn hoses on my gauge kit. I installed them today to diagnose a broken air conditioner in my car. Installed a set of sensors, started the car and turned on the air conditioning. I watch the gauges as the high side pressure slowly approaches 375 psi. Yes. too high i know I'm on my way to the ignition when two of the three hoses burst, spraying the car and me with air conditioning oil and releasing my freon. If you look at the specs. These hoses are listed for 500 psi…
