I was glad to get a butane lighter because I hate the weak flame of cheap lighters you buy at the store. After pouring the butane and lighting it up, I was glad to see such a strong blue flame. My problem is that the nozzle needs to be horizontal or pointing up. When you bend your neck down, or when you stretch and point your neck down, the flame ignites, but only lasts a second or two before going out. This looks like a product or design defect. I've tried increasing the gas/flame to the highest and lowest setting and that didn't fix the problem. I'll probably live with that but might be a deal breaker for everyone else as the idea behind a bendable neck is to shine in any bend direction, down being a very common direction.
