Review on Fractal Design Focus G - High Airflow ATX Mid Tower Computer Case with 2x Fractal Design Silent LL Series 120mm White LED Fans, USB 3.0, Window Side Panel - Blue by Stanislaw Lambach ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice price, good quality.

Well, what can I say, a mediocre case in every sense. Another plus is its dimensions, it fits perfectly into a narrow niche of a computer desk. The quality of materials and turntables is not bad, but the assembly in it is not the most convenient due to the flaws that I indicated in the shortcomings. In other respects, I think that this case is worth its money and with a good power supply, where the modular system and long wires, it will fit perfectly.

Pros
  • 1. Two quiet 120mm fans with white illumination included, with long wires (everything reaches the motherboard without any problems); 2. Three additional places for 120 mm fans; 3. Anti-dust nets in front, top and bottom of the case; 4. Cable management; 5. All edges are ground off, you will not cut yourself when assembling. 6. High-quality painting; 7. Plugs of places for expansion cards are removable, on bolts, twisted by hand, nothing needs to be broken out; 8. All the necessary bolts are in place, a lot of bolts that can be tightened by hand. There is an adapter to screw the legs of the motherboard to the case; 9. Rubber pads in baskets for hard drives and at the installation site of the PSU from noise and vibrations; 10. There is a place to install the drive.
Cons
  • 1. There is not enough space inside, 5 centimeters would be higher. The wire for the audio front panel somehow crawled between the "mother" and the PSU. Somehow I was able to connect the food of the processor. the cooler tower took up a lot of space, there is no reserve on top in the case, and the PSU wires are a bit short for me to connect in advance. It is better to install the drive in the lower compartment, otherwise the upper fan closest to the face will not fit, unless you have a slim one. 2. Cable management holes are not very well thought out in terms of location and size - sata cables were not very convenient to connect; 3. Not thought out location of the basket for HDD and space for ssd. If you need to remove the ssd installed behind the power supply, you will have to remove the power supply. At first, it was not possible to connect 2 hard drives and a drive to one sata cord of the power supply - they are located too far from each other. Even when I moved the drive to the bottom shelf and put the ssd in the basket, the wire length was not enough, I had to work a little and move the sata connector along the cord closer to the PSU. 5. The metal is thin, especially on top, straight foil. 6. There is not much space for the wires, you need to tie everything competently and compactly with ties (by the way, they are included in the kit). 7. Transparent wall - plastic, will be scratched.
