Review on 🛹 Improved Yocaher Blank/Checker Kicktail Complete Longboard Cruiser: Black Widow 80A Grip Tape, Aluminum Truck, ABEC7 Bearing, 70mm Skateboard Wheels by Steve Washington

first let me say this item got to me in 2 working days which is great for free 5 to 8 day delivery. When I received the board everything was in perfect condition and the packaging was about the same as any longboard so no complaints. I carried it out into the driveway, jumped on it and unfortunately was immediately disappointed. I'm not a professional skater at the moment, but I've been skating for about 8 years, so I have a pretty good idea of what's good and what's not. which is not so good. Board construction is decent, with a few deeper scratches and nicks, but nothing major. I like the shape of the deck and it has a nice flex. The wheels are nice and thick and surprisingly turn very smoothly, which I wasn't expecting at all. Something went wrong, it's the trucks. For $60 in the kit, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular, but I expected to be able to enjoy it. It wasn't quite like that. Even with very loose trucks, the turn is just awful and feels very soft. I was hoping the trucks would feel better after a few sessions. I was only on the board for a very short time, but it didn't get any better. After my friends rode a few Sector 9s I bought a full Fernando and when I hopped on it the difference was night and day. I know I can't compare the $60 kit to the $145 kit (Revain prices) but I was hoping for something more from Yocaher. I really wanted to like this item but unfortunately I will be returning it for a refund. It's a good option when the trucks are replaced, but I really don't recommend it as it is. I give it 3 stars because everything else is great. I hope this helps those looking for their first longboard!
