I love this little guy. It seems to be the same as others from different sellers that cost around $17 but was $13 when I first thought about ordering. I would like to mention that this seller offers a shorter warranty but it would be the deal of the century if I ordered then, especially compared to more expensive adapters with the same characteristics and I believe the same internal components. On an Ethernet-connected laptop in a room with an AC router, download speeds average 73 Mbps. In a room across the house, this adapter boosted speeds to an average of 71 in the 5GB space. Speeds with the laptop's built-in adapter averaged less than 20Mbps using 3 different speed test sites. I bought the adapter for $15 from seller Zhiyun Gimbals and it has since gone up again ($16). If the price goes down, I'll buy a few more. Highly recommended if you have a router that can take advantage of this. Please note that the internal adapter has priority during installation and must be disabled while it is enabled. The installation was plug and play in W10 on several laptops. A detachable antenna is simply necessary in the back room, but it is not needed next to the router. Also note that the 2.4GHz band is much slower in my situation.
