I wasn't sure if this would work on the new iMac. I needed an adapter with a longer cable. After reading the reviews I read that a smart person was looking for the same in Canada. This man did a good job for the center. I'm not that talented, so I'm constantly jealous. In any case, this hub works great with new iMacs since they no longer have SD card slots or USB 3.0 ports. I like the green indicator light that the hub is powered. I'm sure Apple will come up with something like this for twice the price at some point.
