Review on Enhance Steering Performance with Edelmann 8798 Power Steering Pump Seal Kit by Kelly Sadiq

My '99 4-channel steering pump was squeaking badly. The original pump and I never cleaned the tank so I decided to buy it and rebuild the pump. I know how to turn the key, I changed the timing belt myself. After installing this kit I had no power steering. Included was a SMALL diagram showing the pump exploding what goes where, but no part numbers or which seal is which. I ended up running to my local parts store and bought a refurbished steering pump with warranty. The squeak was gone and the power steering returned. If you're getting a severe squeak from your steering pump, I highly recommend simply draining your reservoir. There is a strainer in the tank and mine was full of lumps!
